 From Right: Rev Dr Khoo Ho Peng (external examiner), Rev Dr Wong Tik Wah (Supervisor), Rev Sarah Mo (MTheo candidate), Rev Dr Lim Kar Yong (Director of Postgraduate Studies), and Rev Dr Ezra Kok (internal examiner) | Rev Sarah Mo successfully defended her Master of Theology thesis on April 26, 2016. Both the examiners, Rev Dr Khoo Ho Peng (from Methodist Theological School, Sibu) and Rev Dr Ezra Kok (from STM), passed her thesis with corrections. We wish to congratulate Rev Sarah Mo for her successful completion of her programme of study with a concentration on spiritual formation, and we look forward to her graduation this year, if she is able to complete all the necessary corrections required by the examiners. Rev Sarah Mo is a Methodist minister from the Sabah Provisional Annual Conference currently serving in Labuan. |

I am privileged to be invited by the church to teach a module on 1 Corinthians as part of the Theological Programme. Held over a total of 6 daily classes of 3-hour each from April 18-23, more than 60 pastors and leaders from the church signed up for this class. I am deeply encouraged by the response this programme has generated. Christian Education programme, planned and executed carefully and thoughtfully, will ensure that members of the congregation are equipped and prepared for service in the church and beyond. I applaud the Christian Education team that puts this programme together, and ensures that quality church based theological education remains accessible to everyone in the church. |
